A lot is happening this coming year.
The National Funeral for former Governor of Georgia and the 39th President of the United States Jimmy Carter is scheduled for January 9.
Considering some of his recent actions, comments and opinions; the world is wondering how things will go once Donald Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States January 20.
But among the things that we do know are coming...
January 1 is Hangover Day, for obvious reasons, and Public Domain Day—where affected intellectual properties, like Ellery Queen's debut novel The Roman Hat Mystery are no longer protected for the creators or their estates.
There's also a Planetary Alignment on the horizon January 25!
Plenty of anniversaries and celebrations too, like World Heritage Day and Earth Day in April.
