SUNDAY FUNNIES: DIGGING UP JOKES (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Now, it may sound like I'm quoting Game of Thrones, more correctly known as Volume 1 of the A Song of Ice and Fire Saga (and when is George R. R. Martin going to finish that series?) but it's true that Winter IS coming!
So like any good dog, I'm out in my backyard securing my bones๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿฆด for the winter.
Of course, my people have taken objection to this for some reason I've yet to fathom.
Hey, they've got banks for their money and other valuables, so until there is some other place safe to stash my bones, all I have is the backyard.
Anyway, while taking care of my bone collection, I've dug up some good jokes too.
Ready?
Autumn's backyard.

Researchers have finally crossed a chicken๐Ÿ” with a banjo.๐Ÿช• They now have a chicken that will pluck itself. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Why couldn’t the pirate learn the alphabet? Because he kept getting lost at C.

You know it's time to clean the refrigerator when something inside closes the door after you're done.๐Ÿ˜•

Why do humans yell at us dogs whenever we're on the furniture but nobody complains that humans and their recliners go way back?

Anyway, my people are dragging me back into the house now while they fix their yard.
I still don't know what's wrong with it, but they better not touch any of my bones! ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿฆด
In any event, have a great week everybody and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies as Waxy Dragon and I team up for our annual Halloween ๐ŸŽƒhi-jinks.—AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: I'M ME!

Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
I hate to say this, but I'm feeling a bit down today, and blue isn't my best color.
Have you ever wondered about things?
I don't mean just the big questions in life like, "Why do we drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?" or "Have you ever noticed baloney is nothing more than hotdog pancakes?"
I'm talking about more IMPORTANT things like:
Who am I?
Why am I here?

Waxy's drawing of Bubblehead
My Dragon School teacher asked all of us what we wanted to be when we grew up.
Well, a Companion Dragon, duh!
I think I'm already doing a good job putting up with living with Bubblehead, the human I take care of.
Then again, he looks out for me too, so that makes us a family.๐Ÿ’•

But I'm not sure what kind of an answer Ms. Fyre was looking for.
Anyone who asks me what I am going to do tomorrow, likely assumes I know what day of the week it is.
After all, I'm only a baby by dragon standards.
I've got a LONG way to go before I reach adulthood.

I may not have won any acting awards (yet), but I can certainly put on quite a performance when I want to do something Bubblehead doesn't agree with.๐Ÿ˜‰

I may not be a spectacular athlete like a some humans are, but I have yet to see one of you people flap your arms and fly like I can.๐Ÿ˜€

I always knock on the fridge door before I open it, just in case there’s a salad dressing.๐Ÿ˜ณ

I am the kind of baby companion dragon who will admit my faults, If I ever get any.๐Ÿ˜‰

My friends say I need to work on my humility, but I have no idea why they say that.๐Ÿ˜•

If you need something to believe in, start with yourself.

Happiness is not about getting all you want, it is about enjoying all you have.

WOW! I'm feeling better already!
And on that note♫, have a great week everybody, and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.

CAN YOU HELP JAIME RAMOS?

Okay, I'm trying to help my friendly neighborhood beta-proofreader Nancy Hansen help out our mutual (writing) friend Jaime Ramos.
If you personally cannot assist, can you please at least spread the word in hopes of finding someone out there who can?
THANK YOU!

Our friend and fellow writer/editor Jaime Ramos has end stage kidney disease. He posted the following today:
Jaime, with his son and wife.

I had a check up with my kidney team...
My numbers aren't good. Got many shots and an infusion of iron.
Hemoglobin is down... so is protein.
I got a flu vaccination.
End Stage Renal Disease... no fun.
Still looking for a kidney donor.

While prayers and well wishes are important and appreciated, what Jaime really needs is a donor kidney!
PLEASE, if you can do something along those lines, all kidney patients in similar circumstances would appreciate it. At the very least, please share this post—I have Jaime's permission to do so. Let's blanket the world with the news and see if we can locate a donor.

Here is where you can find out more about the donor that Jaime needs.
The people you need to speak with concerning donating a kidney are...

SUNDAY FUNNIES: IT'S AUTUMN/FALL! (2019)

It's Fall Autumn!
Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Or should that be Fall the Puppy, for I was named after the season that's upon us.
Yep, it's fall.
The days start to turn grayer, shorter, and colder.
The leaves๐Ÿ‚ start falling from the trees.
I'm okay with that last part, since I don't have to lend a paw to rake them up.๐Ÿ˜‰
It's actually fun to romp and play in them when they're nice and crisp.
It's when they turn soggy after a hard rain that they're no longer any fun.

So, let me try to brighten your day a bit with some jokes. Ready?

Does a lone leaf๐Ÿ hanging from a tree๐ŸŒณ fear it might have missed its falling in life.

Why don’t cats๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ˜ผ play poker in the Jungle?
Too many cheetahs.

How do you tune a violin๐ŸŽป to play Blue Grass music๐ŸŽต?
You have to Fiddle with it.

Somebody stole my limbo stick!
How low can you go?

Justice is best served cold... because if it is served warm, it would be just water.

Sign on a tree in Sherwood Forest: Jousters wanted for seasonal employment. Must work knights.

My people have discovered that answering the phone by saying: “Sheriff’s office, fraud division.” sure has slowed down the telemarketer calls.

I am happy to report that my inner child is still ageless.๐Ÿ˜

And on that note๐†”, have a great week folks and please be back again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.
