SUNDAY FUNNIES: SPORTING HUMOR

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Now is a great time to be a sports fan.
Major League Baseball is about to start its new season. College Basketball is finishing up theirs, with the playoffs for professional basketball on the horizon; and of course there's always golf, soccer, and all the other great outdoor sports to look forward to now that the weather is hopefully warming up.
With that in mind, lets have some fun with sports humor.
Ready? Set... GO!

“We were on our game 99% of the time. It was the other 3% that cost us!”

“We didn’t underestimate our opponent. The other team was just a lot better than we thought.”

“Any time we score more than 100 points and hold the other team below 100 points, we almost always win.”

"My professional athletic career was sputtering until I did a 360 and got headed in the right direction."

"I hate being dead last in the standings, especially since we did so great in our preseason games. The only thing that keeps this organization from being recognized as one of the finest in baseball is our wins and losses at the major league level."

One fan complains to another, "We can't win at home. We can't win on the road."
"I know," said the other fan. "But where else can we play?"

When asked about his coach, one player said, "He treats us like men. He lets us wear earrings."

One football player, when asked about his goals, said: "I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

The new coach, trying to get his players organized, said, "You guys line up alphabetically by height."

“We can’t run. We can’t pass. We can’t stop the run. We can’t stop the pass. We can’t kick," he said. "Other than that, we’re a good football team.”

And on that note♫, have a great week everybody and please be here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: GROANERS (misc. jokes)

If I pulled a rope behind me, would I be dragon the line?
Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
Sometimes when you go to tell a joke, the punch line is so obvious that the listener moans or groans when they don't get it.
With that in mind...

If you want to open a store, I suggest you sell stoves. This will give you a hot range of products.

When you got pennies, you got common cents.

The meaning of OPAQUE, is unclear.

If you really want to get rich running a store, I suggest you get into selling music on vinyl. By the end of the year, you will have record sales....
Upon closer examination, is it funny?

I couldn't remember exactly how to throw a boomerang at first, but then it came back to me.

I remember when plastic surgery was taboo.
Now if you mention Botox, no one raises an eyebrow.

The invisible man married the invisible woman. Children have yet to be seen.

I would love to say that comforters are better than quilts, but I refuse to make a blanket statement.

And on that note♫, have a great week everybody and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY 2018

Ah. Happy Saint Patrick's Day me fine lads and lassies.
Larry the Leprechaun here, pausing to celebrate with everyone here as part of all the events on my long agenda for today.

First off, in case any of you are wondering, leprechauns are lucky, under certain circumstances. But ever since that one bloke hooked up with that cereal company, none of the rest of us can come right out and call ourselves lucky.

Anyway, today be Saint Patrick's Day, where even those who cannot claim any ancestry to the Emerald Isle be Irish today as we honor the great Saint Patrick himself.

While the day first began as purely a religious observance during Lent, it has certainly grown beyond anyone's imagination to become a holiday of anything and everything Irish, whether it be legend or fact.
However, that does not prevent me from telling everyone some fine Irish inspired humor.

What's Irish and stays outside in your yard all the time?
Patty O'Furniture.

Why did good Saint Patrick drive the snakes out of Ireland?
Because it was too far for them to walk.

Why should you never iron a four leaf clover?
Because ye don't want to press your luck.

What do you call a fake stone in Ireland?
A sham rock.
Of course, music wise, some of us leprechauns really like sham rock and roll.

What kind of bow cannot be tied?
A rainbow.

What does it mean when you find a horseshoe?
Some poor horse is walking around bare foot!

Why do frogs love Saint Patrick's Day?
Because they're already green.

And now, before I must part company with all ye fine people, let me pause to wish everyone the best in life.
Until we meet again...

May the road rise up to meet ye to ease your travels
May the wind always be at your back to make the journey quicker
May the sun shine warm upon your face to make your trip more comfortable
May the rains fall softly upon your fields to make your crops more bountiful.
May a rainbow always follow the rain.
May your needs never meet lack.
And may the hand of a friend always be within reach.

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!

Please party responsibly.

PI DAY 2018

Today is a very special celebration.
Of course, it's Pi Day, with March the third month of the year, and today being the fourteenth.
03-14
3.14
PI!

But today is also the THIRTIETH ANNIVERSARY of celebrating this irrational number that cannot be fully expressed as a fraction, although most scientists and mathematicians prefer to write it as 22 over 7.

It is an unique number whose exact decimal representation cannot be completely calculated because it never ends nor repeats to a scientific conclusion. The number sequence representing PI, as seen in the second image, is derived from trying to divide 22 by 7 but unfinished.

So however you care to slice it or celebrate, HAPPY PI DAY!

SUNDAY FUNNIES: TIME FOR JOKES!

Part time watch dog
Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Believe it or not, the United States is now on Daylight Saving Time for 2018, so I hope everyone this affects remembered to Spring Forward one hour, despite the fact that it's nowhere near Spring around here yet.
Anyway, I also thought now would be the appropriate time for some jokes.
Ready?

What time is it when the clock strikes 13?
Time to get a new clock.

Have you ever noticed that whenever you ask someone throughout the day what time it is, you always get a different answer!

What do you call a belt with a clock on it?
A waist of time.

What time is it when 10 angry animals are chasing you?
Ten to one, or time to run!

How can you make time fly?
Throw the clock out the window!

Rock around the clock
The man called his dentist for an appointment.
It wound up being at tooth-hurty.

Why was the clock all stressed out?
It was too wound up.

What did the second hand say to the hour hand as it passed by?
See you again in a minute.

What time do ducks wake up?
At the quack of dawn.

What did the whale say to the dolphin in the ocean?
Long time, no sea.

Did you hear about the hungry clock?
It went back four seconds.

And remember, even a broken clock is right twice a day, unless it's digital and the screen is blank. Then it's anybody's guess.

On that note♫, have a great week and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.
