SUNDAY FUNNIES: A DOG ON LIFE (misc. jokes)

Yes, I am watching... my food dish.
Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here today!

I'm not sure who, but someone once said, "One of the most important keys to success is having the discipline to do what you know you should do, even when you don't feel like doing it."

It may seem like I'm just sitting here in my doghouse, watching the world go by when I'm not sleeping or eating, but nothing could be further from the truth.

I'm actually observing life in all its myriad forms from the "lowly" ant to the complexity of humans.

Or in other words, it's been such a long and boring week that I'm posting unused jokes from doing this theme before to fill up my column space. 😉
Ready?

Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision.
The road of life is paved with too many flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision.

I finally realized some people are virtual prisoners of their electronic devices. That's why they call them cell phones.

One possible definition of ambiguity: what happens in vagueness stays in vagueness.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he has to buy rods, reels, bait, jigs, flies and a fishing license; if not waders, a boat and a truck as well.
So who comes out ahead in the end on that deal? The Sports Store???

I wonder if common sense will ever make a comeback?
I can certainly name a few places where it isn't present right now...

Barring bugs, disease, fires, and whatnot; Oak trees have a projected life span of 200 years.
I wonder who lived long enough to confirm that?
Anyway, I think I'm gonna go back to my favorite shady spot under mine and take another nap.
Have a great week everybody and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: FATHERS' DAY 2017

"Woof, Dad!"
"Happy Father's Day daddy!"
Hello Everybody! Today you have both Autumn the Puppy AND Waxy Dragon here as we get together to celebrate Fathers' Day with some fun jokes.

Ready?

Jon: What’s the difference between a high-hit baseball and a maggot’s father?
Tom: What?
Jon: One’s a pop fly. The other’s a fly pop.

“Dad, are bugs good to eat?” asked the boy.
“Let’s not talk about such things at the dinner table, son,” his father replied.
After dinner the father inquired, “Now, son, what did you want to ask me?”
“Oh, nothing,” the boy said.  “There was a bug in your soup, but now it’s gone.”

Science teacher: When is the boiling point reached?
Science student: When my father sees my report card!

Joe: What does your father do for a living?
Jon: He’s a magician. He performs tricks, like sawing people in half.
Joe: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Jon: Yep, four half-sisters and a half-brother.

Four men are in the hospital waiting room because their wives are having babies. A nurse goes up to the first guy and says, “Congratulations! You’re the father of twins.”
“That’s odd,” answers the man. “I work for the Minnesota Twins!”
A nurse says to the second guy, “Congratulations! You’re the father of triplets!”
“That’s weird,” answers the second man. “I work for the 3M company!”
A nurse tells the third man, “Congratulations! You’re the father of quadruplets!”
“That’s strange,” he answers. “I work for the Four Seasons hotel!”
The last man is groaning and banging his head against the wall.
“What’s wrong?” the others ask.
“I work for 7 Up!”

Son: For $20, I’ll be good.
Dad: Oh, yeah?  When I was your age, I was good for nothing.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: SUMMER PUNNING (misc. jokes)

"It's SUMMER TIME!"
Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
We had a few days to make up because of bad weather over the winter, but Dragon School's finally out for the summer! 😄
Of course that means now I'll be spending plenty of time with my coloring books and crayons, always looking for more Belgosian Dark Chocolate, and generally getting under Bubblehead's feet and in his business.
Just because Bubblehead is my human companion, guardian, or whatever you care to call him doesn't mean he can hide all that good Dark Chocolate from me.

Hey, I'm only a baby dragon. What am I supposed to do over the summer? Get a job?
Anyway, just because I'm out of school doesn't mean I won't be telling jokes. Like...
"That's udderly ridiculous too!"

When a hospital runs out of maternity nurses, is that a MID WIFE CRISIS?

What is the fastest liquid? MILK. It is pasteurized before you see it.

One cow said to another: "My genetics prevent me from producing milk."
The other cow agreed. "Yes, you udderly lactose genes."

I wanted to watch the national origami championships, but it was strictly paper view.

When the bad poet stood before the judge, he felt that the punishment should fit the rhyme.

I saw a sign on a wall that said BILL POSTERS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
What I want to know is, why are they so sure Bill Posters isn't innocent of whatever he's being accused of?

I wish a box of pizza lasted as long as a bag of baby carrots.

And on that note♫, have a great week everybody! Stay cool and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies.
Meanwhile, I'm going to try and find where Bubblehead has hidden the Belgosian Dark Chocolate this time!😉—wd.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: ODDITIES (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Right now, we're in the annual transition period between Spring and Summer.

Most people consider Memorial Day the start of the new season, although that doesn't actually happen until the Summer solstice later this June.

But that is far from the only thing odd in this world, and no. I'm not about to hop on some soap box and start ranting about politics.
Yet, other odd things in this world do include...
♫Hmmm....♫

HUMMINGBIRDS
Cute little things, but why do they hum?
Did they forget the words to the song?

A man sitting in a coffee shop with no phone. No computer gizmo. He was just sitting there, drinking coffee.
Aquarius? No, dirt.
WHY???

Cells multiply by dividing!
So does this mean they are good or bad in math???

This world is about 71% water, so why do we call it Earth???

An ostrich egg needs to be boiled for over 2 hours to have a decent hard boiled egg.
WHY??? Wouldn't another live, baby ostrich be a lot better for the world than just one huge omelet???

And last, but certainly not least, this guy...
THE DUCKBILL PLATYPUS!
I mean, I seriously hate to pick on another living creature, but what we have here is a beaver with a duck's bill that's a mammal, yet lays eggs!
Make your own jokes about this one folks!

And on that note ♫, have a great week and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.
