SUNDAY FUNNIES: WHATEVER... (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Not much of a day in my neighborhood weather wise, so I'm staying in where it's nice, warm and dry. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Truthfully, it's just a BLAH Day and I’m feeling super lazy today.
That is like normal lazy, but with a cape.
But the jokes are seriously piling up around the corner where I keep my doggie bed, also known as the living room couch, so I'm just going to start telling some of these as yet unused gems and see which ones shine brightly and which ones turn out to be only zircon. Ready?

I got up at 5AM, ran 16 miles and did 100 sit ups before doing 50 push ups. Then I fixed myself a vegetable smoothie for breakfast. Thankfully I don’t remember the rest of that nightmare.

Are you as bored as I am?
Now read that backwards and it will still make sense.

Good bakers use real butter, so there is no margarine for error.

I wonder how many calories are burned by jumping to conclusions?

She was always smiling from the way he made her feel.
He was hot, dark, and steamy.
He made her life have meaning.
She couldn’t live without him and she didn’t want to.
Then again, I always thought her relationship with that Mister Coffee machine was odd.๐Ÿ˜‰

STEAM PUNK is what happened when GOTH discovered the color brown.

Now don’t forget to drink a lot of water and get some sun.๐ŸŒž
Humans are basically house plants with complicated emotions.

So on that note♫ take care.
Have a good week.
STAY SAFE!๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: DID YOU KNOW...??? (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!
After teaming up with Autumn the Puppy for the Big Game๐Ÿˆ and Valentines' Day๐Ÿ’•, we're back to solo turns for awhile.
I have been told by our illustrious Editor-In-Chief that we will be having our annual guest hosts for Saint Patrick's Day๐Ÿ€ and Easter๐Ÿ‡, and that our next team up will probably be Mothers' Day for those interested.
But moving on...

Being a cat I'm naturally curious.
I'll stick my nose into almost anything interesting to see what's going on in the world and boy, some of the things I've found out!
For example, did you know...

Unsavory artists are sketchy?

The Cairo river’s small tributaries are juveniles.

Old bankers don’t retire, they just lose interest.

If plant kernels get lost, they become corn fused.

Music coming from a printer means the paper be jamming.

Laboratory Retrievers are a chemist’s favorite dog.

A cloud’s favorite reptile is a blizzard.

Whenever help's needed at the gym, they hang up a sign proclaiming  POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

Hunting unicorns๐Ÿฆ„ is LEGAL in Michigan! No wonder there are none in that state. They all fled when they had the chance!

And did you know that unfortunately I'm all out of space and time?
On that note♫ have a great week.
Take care!
STAY SAFE!๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be with us again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!PDK.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: VALENTINES DAY 2021

♫And they call it Puppy Love♫
 Hello Everybody!
L'Amour de Katt

Autumn the Puppy AND Piper D. Katt here once again!

That's right. After doing our annual "Big Game๐Ÿˆ" post last week, Autumn and I put our heads together when we realized that we have an unique opportunity here today since VALENTINE'S DAY๐Ÿ’• is actually on a SUNDAY this year! ๐Ÿ˜€

There are several times throughout the year when your Sunday Funnies' hostesses team up, but this is the first time we've been able to do so for February 14! With 2024 being a Leap Year, we won't have this VALENTINE'S DAY team up opportunity again until 2027!

Well then, while LOVE is a serious subject, let's make the most of our time together, shall we?

How did the telephone☎ propose to its girlfriend?
He gave her a ring.

You must be like dandruff because I can't get you off my head no matter how much I try.

Like asthma, you take my breath away.

My partner works at the zoo and is a real keeper!

Of course there are all kinds of ROMANTIC love songs available, but how many humorous ones are there?
At least one for sure. Take it away "Weird" Al Yankovic!

But seriously folks...
LOVE =  Listen. Overlook. Value. Express.

And remember...
"A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others."—from The Wizard of Oz.

On that note♫, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Have a great week!
Take care.
STAY SAFE!๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!AtP and PDK.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: THE "BIG" GAME 2021

Dog
Hello Everybody!
Cat

Today you have both
Autumn the Puppy AND Piper D. Katt here as the Sunday Funnies presents its annual salute to The "Big" Game.๐Ÿˆ

That's right Autumn. Of course since The Free Choice E-zine is not an official sponsor, we can't call the event by it's real name, but we can cash tie into it like anyone else.

Yes, and we've been skewing this thing for quite a while now.
Personally, I've never seen the point of football.

It has two Autumn. One on either end.๐Ÿˆ

I know that Piper. What I meant was that I just don't understand the game. For one thing, owners spend all that money funding and equipping their respective teams and all they get in return is a quarter back?๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, and the game looks rough to me. All that blocking and tackling. If they didn't want the other side to accomplish anything with the ball, why give it to them in the first place?
A football.
Original source material?

They call it a "pig skin" because at one point the balls were originally made out of pig hides!
Of course Batman would never allow any black colored footballs to exist because he's sworn to protect Goth Ham. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Did you hear about the football player who had an emergency and tried to get a hold of his coach at home?
When the wife answered the phone and told the player the coach wasn't home, she then asked the man for his number.
"3," said the player, before he hung up.

Can you imagine a grade school coach explaining football to kids?
"The game helps you develop individuality, initiative, and leadership skills. Now go out there and do exactly what I tell you to."

Of course, this year's game is entirely different for obvious reasons ๐Ÿ˜ท but I do like the fact that about the only real in stadium audience this year will be invited local medical personnel who get to see it for free!

And before we go, we cannot forget our other annual "Big Game" tradition.
To conclude this post, we present a true comedy classic courtesy of YouTube, as Andy Griffith explains "What It Was, Was Football." The illustrations in the video are by George Woodbridge, from the 1958 adaptation of Griffith's routine in Mad magazine!

So on that note♫, have a great week everybody!
STAY SAFE!๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be back here with us next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!AtP and PDK.
