SUNDAY FUNNIES: SWEET MYSTERIES OF LIFE (Misc. jokes)

REMEMBER THE VETS!
It's the Memorial Day weekend here in the United States of America, so our resident comediennes have the holiday off.
Guess that just leaves everyone with The Free Choice E-zine's humble Editor-In-Chief but I promise to try and be funny.
Ready?

There are mysteries of life who's solutions still elude us to this day, like...

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?
The fridge isn't self-filling folks. If there's nothing to eat: GO SHOPPING!

Why do we press harder on a remote control
when we know the batteries are getting dead?
If the remote isn't working, either get up and change the channel yourself or buy new batteries!

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?
Laziness? Disbelief? Truthfully, I'm not sure, but at least give me credit for being a man who actually does housework!

Of course, the only one I can think of that actually fits this post's title is:
"Why aren't they making true Sugar Free food items that actually taste good?"
Then again, try finding any sugar free items in a grocery store nowadays.
Your selection is severely limited!

AND NOW, BEFORE I GO, SOME SAGE ADVICE.
Life has two rules.
Rule #1: NEVER quit!
Rule #2: Always remember Rule # 1.

Take care everybody. Please remember what this Monday is actually for and one of the ladies will see you next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—lth,jr.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY 2017

"Woof! Mom!"
"I love you Mommy!"
Hello Everybody! Today you have both Autumn the Puppy AND Waxy Dragon here as we celebrate Mother's Day!

So Autumn, considering how on top of things Mother's always seem to be, let's take a peek inside Mom's Dictionary!
And as usual, our comments are in Italics.

DUMBWAITER: One who asks if the kids would care to order dessert.
The Mother's Library

Of course a kid is going to want dessert, along with most adults. What kind of a dumb question is that?

FEEDBACK: The inevitable result when the baby doesn't appreciate the strained carrots.
Of course, how the baby shows their disapproval might be another matter!

FULL NAME: What you call your child when you're not happy with them.
Warning to all children: Use of middle name indicates your Mother is REALLY upset!

GRANDPARENTS: The people who think your children are wonderful even though they're sure you're not raising them right.
In other words, they're treating your mom just like they were treated when trying to raise her.
SPECIAL DELIVERY!
HEARSAY: What toddlers do when anyone mutters a dirty word.
Warning to all children: Just because you heard an adult say something doesn't mean it's safe for you to repeat it.

INDEPENDENT: How we want our children to be for as long as they do everything we say.
If you don't understand this kids, ask your Mother to explain the phrase "Catch 22" to you.

PUDDLE: A small body of water that draws other small bodies wearing dry shoes into it.
It's like iron to a magnet, only your feet get wet.

SHOW OFF: A child who is more talented than yours.
EVERY child is special. Some just think they are more so than others.

STERILIZE: What you do to your first baby's pacifier by boiling it, and to your last baby's pacifier by blowing on it and wiping it with saliva.
Don't panic if you're not the first child in the family. It just means your mom is getting better at being a mother.

TOP BUNK: Where you should never put a child wearing superhero jammies.
Just because you're dressed in costume doesn't grant you super powers.

TWO MINUTE WARNING: When the baby's face turns red and they begin to make those familiar-grunting noises.
Get that kid to the bathroom, QUICK!

WHODUNIT: None of the kids that live in your house.
After all mom, did you own up to everything when you were their age?

And on that note, we hope Mothers around the world had a great day, and that everyone's back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP and WD.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: LIFE OBSERVED (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Well, the weather is finally starting to get warmer, so I'm able to sit outside my doghouse more and watch the world go by.
Doing so, I've been able to make some more observations about life, the universe, and everything; besides the fact that 6 x 9 does not equal 42.

For example...

A recent study showed that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than men who mention it.

Why do humans hate it when they see an old person and then realize that they went to school together?

I will be the first to admit that I have yet to figure out babies.
They're short, bald, not potty trained nor good with words; yet women go crazy over them.
Then again, you could say the same thing about me in my younger days.

If people should be with someone who makes them happy, then why are relationships so seriously complicated?

Eau de Pepe
It seems to me that skunks get a bad rap.
Let's face facts folks.
The skunk didn't ask to smell worst than year old, unwashed gym socks.
Skunks don't go around comparing themselves to unfavorable humans. After all, when was the last time you heard one skunk yell angrily at another "You dirty human!"
Like penguins, they're stuck waiting for invitations to fancy gatherings because all they have is formal attire.
I guess it's all a question of how you stop and look at things.

And on that note ♫, have a great week everybody, and please be back next weekend to join me and Waxy Dragon for our annual Mother's Day salute on the Sunday Funnies!—AtP.
