SUNDAY FUNNIES: DEEP THOUGHTS

Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!

Sometimes I'm asked how observant cats are.

After all, we always seem to be lying about, either asleep or staring off into space before we suddenly leap into action without warning.

More humans lose food that way😉, but the truth is us felines are a lot smarter than you think.

With so much time on our paws, we ponder a lot of deep thoughts.

Such as...

Mountains are always tired because they never rest.

I mean, they're always standing tall and majestic.

That must get tiring, right?

Or do they at least get to sit down for a break at night when no one's around to see them?

Why isn't there a feline version?

Do not take your marble countertops for granite.

And please keep them neat and clean.

We cats😸 do love our perches.

When brick layers retire, they throw in their trowels.

I presume they've used up all their mortar by this point, but what happens to the leftover bricks?

Do donuts🍩🍩 get fillings at the dentist?

After all, people get fillings there.

Or maybe that delicious stuff within them comes from the filling stations that service your cars.🚗🚘

In any event...

The first draft of a cookbook is a menu script.

Makes a cat wonder who gets to try out the recipe results before the cook declares them "right"?
