AMONGST EVENTS AROUND THE W🌍RLD THIS PAST WEEK…
*Civil unrest continues in Lebanon to the point of cabinet members resigning.
*Are there problems in Chile too???
*If Brexit ever happens, it won’t be before October 31 now that another extension has been granted. (There are 2/TWO separate links in this item.)
*Was there trouble with Bolivia’s Presidential election???
*Is The Daily and Sunday Telegraph for sale???
*The Testaments by Margaret Atwood and Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo are co-winners of the 2019 Man Booker Prize for fiction.

*Turkey wants nuclear weapons???
*Is all well now??? American President Donald Trump thinks so. (There are 2/TWO separate links in this item.)
*But will the Kurds take Trump’s advice concerning their future???

THE TERRORIST REPORT…
*The Free Choice E-zine does not support terrorism, no matter what the “cause” or alleged “justification”. Thus we will only be posting news items in this section whenever terrorists are brought to justice.

😢PASSING PARADE…
*The (innocent?) victims of the "Grays" incident.
*TV Producer Al Burton (One Day At A Time, The Jeffersons, Diff’rent Strokes) is no longer with us.
*Actor Jerry Fogel (The Mothers In Law, Tora! Tora! Tora!) has taken his last bow on life’s stage.

WITHIN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA…
THE BORDER WALL-KIDS-IMMIGRATION ISSUES…
*With families being separated upon apprehension, President Trump declared the lack of a border wall a “national emergency”. There have since been legal and legislative battles initiated over this.
*They deported a VETERAN???
*Walls in Colorado and LOUISIANA???
NOTE: While we are doing our best to provide coverage, the above is a serious, ongoing issue. Especially since no one has yet to discuss the costs of separating families and who is truly responsible for the deaths of FOUR detainees (known to date), let alone if anyone might actually be making a profit from this situation.
POLITICALLY, WITH MOST OF THIS COVERING THE TRUMP/UKRAINE SITUATION
*Sorry Mr. Trump. THE IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY IS LEGAL!
*Although America is scheduled to host the next Global Summit, it will NOT be at a Trump facility!
*Did “butt dialing” lead to trouble???
*It wasn’t a good Cabinet meeting.
*Are more Republicans siding AGAINST Trump??? Have they given up on him??? (There are 2/TWO separate links in this item.)
*Bill Taylor, the Ukraine envoy testified in the Impeachment inquiry. (There are 3/THREE separate links in this item.)
*Trump still hasn’t found a new head for the Department of Homeland Security yet.
*Trump thinks he’s successful in Syria???
*Trump still doesn’t like his predecessor.
*Donald Trump is now being sued over ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act.
*Nepotism in government???
*Regardless of when or how, what might happen post-Trump.
*Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has been cited for NOT doing her job!
*October 27 marks the 20th anniversary of then President Bill Clinton announcing the second straight year of a Federal Budget SURPLUS! Makes you wonder what’s happened in the years since.
IT’S FACT CHECK TIME!
*Shouldn’t political ads be fact checked???
*Trump on his Presidential salary.
*Seriously, walls in Colorado and LOUISIANA???
MEANWHILE…
*Can we keep foreign influence OUT of our elections???
*Trying to stop the Impeachment inquiry, even to the point of “invading” them! (There are 3/THREE separate links in this item.)
*What’s on Senator Mitch McConnell’s mind???
*Two wrongs do NOT make a right!
*Could South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham lose his seat in the 2020 election???
*There is now one LESS contender for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination.
ELSEWHERE…
*NO MORE CASHIERS???
*California’s new school hours: good or bad???
*When will the Chicago teachers strike end???
*The 2019 World Series of Major League Baseball is between the American League’s Houston Astros, who have fired their Assistant General Manager, and the Washington Nationals of the opposing league. Going into Game 4 October 26, the Nationals were ahead 2-1 in the best 4 out of 7 competition.
*October 27 is the 65th anniversary of Disneyland, the TV series that helped raise construction funds for the park. The original Mickey Mouse Club, also originally created to help raise construction funds, would debut the following year.
*October 27 marks the 15th anniversary of the Boston Red Sox becoming the first Major League Baseball team to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win the World Series.
😀AND FINALLY, SOME GOOD NEWS…
*The General Motors strike is over!
