SUNDAY FUNNIES: A BRIEF STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Free Choice E-zine Editor-In-Chief Lee Houston, Junior here hosting today's Sunday Funnies since the ladies have this holiday weekend off.
With everything that's been going on in 2020 so far (and remember, this year still has a few days left in it!) can you imagine how bad things would have to be for all of THESE folks to show up!

(From left to right, Scooby-Doo's Mystery Machine, the 1967 Impala from Supernatural, and Ecto-1 from Ghost Busters)

Anyway, we can all use a laughter break, so with that in mind...
Strolling down memory lane, I came across this image posted on the right.
This is an ACTUAL toy that was released during the Adam West-Burt Ward Bat-Craze, when the world was briefly dancing the Bat-tusi and campy humor was not only in vogue, but fun too.
Not sure if there was ever a matching Robin water gun, but at least the 1970s edition animation based design (below) was a little more reasonable.
Batty in the 70s too

Your holiday celebration(s) this year were probably far different that those past.
After all, I don't think ♫Over the Internet via Zoom♫ has the same ring to it that ♫Over the river and through the woods♫ has trying to get to Grandmother's house.
Then again, maybe some holiday classics should NOT be revised, as the image below proves.

Thankfully things haven't gotten THIS desperate! (Image on left.)
But then again, I think the would be robber is barking up the wrong tree. After all, don't all snow people keep their money in snow banks? 😉

Yet out of all the images I've seen so far this year, I think the one pictured below may be the funniest representation of 2020...

For those who were expecting to see a picture of the soon to be outgoing President Trump, I'm trying to be entertaining here.

In any event, that's all the space and time I have for today.
2020 has been one doozy of a year but hang in their folks, it's almost over.
Take care.
STAY SAFE!😷
And please be back here next weekend for the first Sunday Funnies of 2021!
Until then...
