Yes I read, and write too!
Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!
Over on his writer's blog, our esteemed Editor-In-Chief wrote a short but poignant opinion piece on banning book bans and burnings.
I mean, who the heck would want to ban, let alone burn a book to begin with?
Have we suddenly gone back to the Dark Ages and nobody told meow?

Anyway, while obviously everyone here at The Free Choice E-zine is against banning and burning books too, this is The Sunday Funnies, so we're going to present books and libraries in a more positive and humorous light. Ready?

Have you ever gone to a library looking for a book and all you can remember about it is "The cover was red."?
Well, that does narrow it down to a one in nine chance of the librarian finding the right book since you've eliminated the options of orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, and brown.
Then again, every book should be well read.😉

There's always plenty of room for more patrons at a library because they're never overbooked. 😀

At a library, you can always find everything you need to do gooder in school.
Including grammar guides!

If you're one of those "alternate facts" people, there's always the fiction section.
I hear lately it's very popular with some politicians.

Did you know one reason that dinosaurs didn't survive extinction is because they didn't read?
Except for the Thesaurus.
Thankfully he/she/it is still around.

Books always make good company.
You can mark your place and come back to where you left off later if you get interrupted by something.
Books help us learn and grow as individuals.
Knowledge is the TRUE power in life.
Don't let anyone take that away from you!
Read books and learn!

On that note♫ take care.
And join me next weekend as I team up with new co-host Koda Canine for our combined Super Bowl🏈/Valentines Day💕 salute on The Sunday Funnies!PDK.
