SUNDAY FUNNIES: OF HEARTS AND FOOTBALL

AND NOW, TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON THE SUNDAY FUNNIES...

Meow l'amour.
This ball, does it taste good?
 PIPER D. KATT
AND
KODA CANNINE!

Hello and Welcome Everybody. We certainly have an unique opportunity here today.

That's right Piper. Tomorrow is Valentines' Day,💕 although love should be all year round.

I agree Koda, but today is that "Big Game" all the football🏈 players and fans work themselves up to.

That's odd. Isn't those International Winter Games still going on too?

You mean the ones where some countries aren't attending because of the Host Country's poor ideas of Democracy and Human Rights while others aren't participating because of the current pandemic?

Yep. It's bad enough having to beat around the bush using alternate names since The Free Choice E-zine isn't an official sponsor of any of the sports events.

True, but it wouldn't be The Sunday Funnies without some jokes, so here we go!

What did one boat say to another?
"Are you up for a little row-mance?"

What did the receiver say to the football?
"Catch you later."

How did the telephone propose to his girlfriend?
He gave her a ring.

Do you have a date for Valentine's Day?
Yeah, February 14th.😉

Do hungry players eat at The Supper Bowl?

What happened when the vampires started dating?
It was love at first bite!

What did the football say to the punter?
"I get a kick out of you."

Isn't that also a song cue?
Maybe, but before we go, let us close with our annual traditional.
Courtesy of YouTube, here's Andy Griffith and his classic routine "What it was, was football"!
Complete with the original George Woodbridge illustrations from Mad magazine's adaptation.

So on that note♫, take care everybody!
STAY SAFE! 😷
And one of us will be back here next weekend with more Sunday Funnies!PDK and KC.

The Free Choice E-zine did not create or post said video on YouTube, but shares it in the spirit of friendship and humor cause we can all use a good laugh in life.
