SUNDAY FUNNIES: COMDEDICALLY CITING CELEBRITIES

Hell Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!
Once again it's time for Citing Celebrities.
First I will post an actual celebrity quote, then a (hopefully) funny observation afterwards. Ready?

"We should be concerned about the future. We are going to spend the rest of our lives there." ~~ Charles Kettering, famous engineer.
Beats trying to relive the past. Especially if you have nine lives like moi.

"If you can’t explain something in simple terms, You don’t understand it." ~~Richard P Feynman, famous physicist.
"Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."~~Benjamin Franklin, founding father of the United States.
"Silence is golden. Duct tape is silver."~~Piper D. Katt.

"You don’t always win your battles, but it is good to know you fought." ~~ Lauren Bacall, famous actress.
It's better to stand for a cause you believe in and risk losing than to do absolutely nothing and lose for sure.

"To achieve great things, two things are needed. A plan... and not enough time." ~~ Leonard Bernstein, famous conductor.
I can understand the first, but don't see how the second fits in. Then again, us cats usually wait till the last split second on practically everything everyway.

"No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot." ~~ Mark Twain, famous author.
It was true in his time, and unfortunately it is still true today.

"Don't just teach your children to read. Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything. The value of an education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think."~~George Carlin, famous comedian and social commentator.
With another school year approaching, I thought this was important for all the parents and students out there to know.

"Be with the guy who ruins your lipstick, not your mascara." ~~ Marilyn Monroe, famous actress.
Or in other words, be with the one who loves you, not the one who makes you cry.

So on that note♫, take care.
STAY SAFE!
Have a great week and please be back next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—PDK.
