Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here with the first Sunday Funnies of the new year!
I've got to tell you folks though, I'm seriously glad I'm an indoor cat because it has been seriously cold.
HOW COLD IS IT?
Right now there is an exhibition softball⚾ game between the penguins🐧🐧and the polar bears happening in my people's backyard as I post this!
We have yet to experience a day or night above freezing, 32F/0C, over this past week with no end in sight!
There allegedly might be some relief later this week, but only in regards to the afternoon highs. All the nights will still be below freezing for at least the rest of this week.
That is WAY to cold for anyone, human or animal!
Hopefully all you people out there have your pets indoors where they belong and no one is going out unless absolutely necessary.
But it is SO cold...
It's so cold that the Gingerbread Man is using cookie sheets to keep his bed warm at night.

It's so cold, Jack Frost changed his name to Jack Frozen!
If you are colder than me, does that make me hotter than you?
Of course Humans run the risk of catching a cold during the winter months, but I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want to intentionally catch a cold, let alone, what do you do with it after you've caught it?
Personally, I would rather catch heat. I definitely prefer the good Spring and Summer weather to Winter.
Of course, if you must catch a cold, this is the right time of year to find one. Can you imagine trying to catch a cold in the Summer? I have no idea where you would look for one to begin with.
Knock, Knock.

Lettuce in, it's cold outside!
