For those living within the United States, Daylight Savings Time ended while most of you were asleep between last night and today.
Considering I just take catnaps on a regular basis, I was up when the switchover was scheduled to happen but I didn't notice anything unusual or spectacular.
One moment it was 2/TWO in the morning and the next it was 1/ONE again according to all the digital clocks my people have.
I'm still not quite sure what exactly you humans actually saved.
Maybe a little on your electric bills over the summer since you didn't have to turn your lights on so soon at night?
The way the current economy is, that certainly helps with budgets but it's meow's understanding that savings should earn interest.
Where is it in this case?
As far as I know, all that happened is that you folks got the hour back that you gave up this past Spring.
Shouldn't it have earned you a couple of extra minutes somewhere, if not seconds?
Even if I had another set of 9/NINE lives beyond the group I'm currently enjoying, I will never completely understand human beings within my collective lifetime!
Just be thankful there wasn't a power outage overnight too.
Then you might have to input other data besides the new correct time like today's date, reset your password(s), the current phase of the moon, blood type, next of kin, etc.
But to help you humans out, I've included a handy dandy chart on the right that I found elsewhere on the Internet.
In any event, I sincerely hope you get all your devices reset in time.
If not, look on the bright side.
You'll be an hour early to work tomorrow. 😼
