*Sony Electronics has decided to stop selling the classic Walkman AM/FM/Cassette player domestically.
*Verizon will pay the United States Treasury $25 million dollar settlement for past overcharges to cellphone customers.
*18 year old Alexandria Mills of the United States of America won the 2010 Miss World title.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:
*Let's do the Time Warp Again! Despite being released in August of 1975, fans of the cult movie classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show celebrate its 35th anniversary this week.
*Just in time for Halloween, Forbes Magazine released their Top Deceased Money Makers. Based upon the earnings of their estates from memorabilia and other royalties, the highest ranked are:

IN SPORTS...
*Although the San Francisco Giants are two games ahead in the best 4 out of 7 World Series, Texas Rangers player Benjie Molina will be receiving a Championship Ring regardless of which team wins, because he started the baseball season with the Giants before being traded to the Rangers, and both teams acknowledge that they would have not made it to the World Series without his participation.
