BLACK FRIDAY 2019

The following is an editorial.

"Black Friday" used to be known as the official start to the retail holiday season but has quickly become seriously misnamed.

A lot of stores and other businesses now start Christmas promotions as early as Halloween and many retailers no longer even bother staying closed on Thanksgiving so their employees can spend time with their families before opening within the wee hours before dawn that Friday morning.

In any event, while it may be no longer viable, The Free Choice E-zine presents our annual poem...

AN ODE TO BLACK FRIDAY...
SOME DARE BRAVE THE GLOOM OF BLACKEST NIGHT,πŸŒ‘
QUESTING FOR BARGAINS UPON THEIR TREK,
TO HIT EVERY SALE BEFORE DAYLIGHT.πŸŒ…

ME? I PLANNED WELL AHEAD.
NO NERVES, CREDIT, OR CAR SUFFERED WRECK.
JUST RESTFUL SLUMBER😴 WITHIN MY OWN BED.πŸ›ŒπŸ’€
