*In a joint announcement from NASA and the ESA, the existence of four additional planets have been confirmed orbiting the star known as “Trappist 1”. How many of these worlds host life remains to be seen.
*Scientists have discovered several new species of miniature frogs in India.
*The bidding competition to host the 2024 Summer Olympics has been narrowed down to Paris, France and Los Angeles, California.
