SUNDAY FUNNIES: WHEN CATS RULED THE WORLD

 Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!
My ancestors claim that us cats once ruled the world. 🌍
I'm not sure about the accuracy of that statement, but I have mixed feelings about whether or not felines should be in charge today.

On one paw, I like to think things would be a whole lot better for everybody, not just us cats.
On the other paw, even with nine lives, who would want all the hassles involved with the job?

The only wars would be over sharing cats toys, making sure everyone got enough to eat and was in a comfortable space for their latest nap.
Yet when I think about all the stuff felines would have to deal with just to get to that point.🙀

Going through history...
Once upon a time the ancient Egyptians wrote on walls and worshiped us cats.
Today everyone's on Facebook or some other social media platform doing the same thing, so what's changed?

We're smart too.
Let's take a look at Technology.
Lasers were once a huge scientific breakthrough. Now you humans use them to play with us cats.
Of course none of you seem to realize how frustrating it gets after a while when we fail to capture that elusive red dot.

Computers were once a scientific breakthrough too. Now you use them to look at cat pictures.
My conclusion is that Science was made by and for cats.

Need further proof cats are smart?
Despite what some people claim in these modern times, the world can't be flat.
If it were, us cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.

A PAWS FOR CUTENESS.
We have you folks paying all our debts.
After all, your cat(s) own your home.
That is why the word “homeowner” has “meow” in it.

You folks may have invented sofas, chairs, beds, etc. But us cats named everything.
Do you occassionally complain about loose feline hair all over your stuff?
Why do you think we call it furniture?😼

You may not know this, but us cats secretly invented Amazon.
After all, we had to have some way to get more cardboard boxes to sleep in and play with.

You humans should also be glad we cats can't talk because we know too much about you as it is.
Just keep feeding us and make sure our litter boxes are always clean if you know what's good for you.😼
And if you ask us to answer what "3 - 3 = " is, we'll say nothing.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: A DOG'S LIFE (misc. jokes)

 Hey Everybody! I'm back!
Koda Canine here safe indoors with my people's air conditioner on because while today is just the prelude, the weather service says our FOURTH heat wave of 2025 starts in earnest tomorrow.
Not sure who this Ernest guy is, but I'd rather be a chili dog than a hot dog.😉
I'm not sure how to change the scent setting on the AC either because right now it still smells like house and not fresh meat market to me.
In any event, it's joke time!

I love being a house dog.
Free TV, provided I like what everyone else is watching because I can't change the channel myself.
Free room and board.
If I could just master the can opener and the bathroom that was illogically built with only humans in mind, I'd really have it made.

The living room recliner and I go way back, until it either hits the wall or my people catch me on it.

I overheard one human telling another that he had so many computer password problems that he had to rename his dog fifteen times.
Why couldn't he just come up with a new password and let the dog keep its name?
Do you know how hard it is to legally change your name?
And in today's world, that might not be a good idea to begin with.

Did you know us dogs like to run around in circles because it's too hard to run in squares?
Square dance maybe, but not square running.
Of course running around in circles gives us a fighting chance to catch our tail when needed because it's the only way we can make ends meet.

While no self respecting dog wants to pull a sled, unless you're the lead dog the view never changes.

Some people ask me what do I want to be when I grow up.
A famous detective like Sherlock Bones or a great magician like Houndini?
What's wrong with being me?
Besides, who said I wanted to grow up to begin with?

And remember: never let your dog near ducks if he's a pure bread.😉
