THE PUZZLE CORNER: APRIL 4, 2015

FUN FACT
Although there is some question today whether or not Abner Doubleday actually invented baseball as we know it now, he did invent the cable car railway system of San Francisco, California, USA.

Two events happening within the next 72 hours as we post this, so let's celebrate both.

THE LETTER SHUFFLE
Easter is Sunday, so how many new words can you find within the letters of EASTER? There are a few more than you think.

DO YOU KNOW?
Below are the official scoreboard designations for
every team in Major League Baseball. Since the new season is scheduled to start Monday April 6, do you know who's who?

ARI, ATL, BAL, BOS, CHC, CIN, CLE, COL, CWS, DET, HOU, KC, LAA, LAD, MIA, MIL, MIN, NYM, NYY, OAK, PHI, PIT, SD, SEA, SF, STL, TB, TEX, TOR, (and) WSH.

We'll reveal all next weekend. But for now, let's open up THE ANSWERS BOX and reveal the results of the March 28, 2015 Puzzle Corner.

COMMON BONDS
The items within each subset below have something in common. Do you know what it is?

01. {notebook paper, kingdom} = both are ruled.
02. {moose, sheep} While we knew both were animals, the terms are for both the single and plural versions of each.

TRIVIA TIME
What is the one thing you own that everybody else uses more?
Your name.
