The following is an editorial.
There is a lot of legitimate concern within the United States of America about whether or not a foreign entity hacked and/or exercised outside influence upon the 2016 US Presidential election.
It also stands to reason that if any of the above actually did happen, then is the upcoming 2020 US Presidential election secure?
For whatever reason(s) Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has yet to allow any bills through his side of Congress that would address the issue.
This has led to some wondering about his "true allegiance", which has caused the Twitter hashtag #MoscowMitch to become popular.
Senator McConnell is not happy about the new nickname, but it seems obvious to The Free Choice E-zine that the quickest solution to the problem would be to prove his detractors wrong by doing everything humanly possible to secure the upcoming elections.
Other than the fact that Congress is now in recess until after Labor Day 2019, why Senator McConnell has yet to do so officially remains unknown.
The Free Choice E-zine unfortunately does not have the answer(s), but inquiring minds and this country need to know!
