SUNDAY FUNNIES: WEEKEND PUPDATE: MAY 2026

AND NOT IT'S TIME FOR WEEKEND PUPDATE
WITH YOUR HOST, KODA CANINE.

Hello Everybody!
I’m Koda Canine, and I used to be an amateur procrastinator, but have since turned pro.

Our top story:
It’s raining like crazy outside right now.
How come it never rains sanely?

Three out of four dogs love bacon.๐Ÿฅ“
The fourth loves bacon too, but is smart enough to know there’s a pill in it.
Speaking of which, what is it with prescription labels?
via Facebook
Thankfully you don't have to pay for them by the word, just the medication, but seriously...
Look at the circled areas in the photo on the right.
If the prescriber is worried about a human accidentally taking this medication, why don't they use a different label than the style used on human prescriptions?
And that line about "Drug may impair ability to operate a vehicle, vessel or machine. Use care."
REALLY?
Us dogs may have licenses, but when was the last time you let one of us drive your car, sail your boat or operate one of your machines?
Anyway, moving on to the rest of the news...

Despite the fact he was legally parked, Kermit the Frog is hopping mad that his car was toad.

Scholars are still trying to figure out who Pete is and why we do things for his sake.

And now, a word from our sponsor.
Going to a house warming party?
Radiators make excellent house warming gifts.
Call 555-WEWANTYOUR$

Now, back to what passes for the news.
Scientists have discovered that Koi fish travel in groups of four. If something attacks them, the A  Koi, B Koi, and C Koi escape while the D Koi misdirects the danger.

New York State temporarily closed all its canals yesterday.
That's Erie.

HOW TO AVOID STRESS AT WORK.…
Don't go to work.
Go to the beach.

Police want your help in arresting the Lingerie Bandit because the thief keeps giving them the slip.

Now it’s time for my editorial.
It’s time to settle the age old debate of which came first once and for all.
I’ve ordered a chicken๐Ÿ” and an egg๐Ÿฅš from Amazon.
I'll let you know...

In Sports, baseball⚾ season is well underway. Today’s scores so far are 3-4, 7-2 and in a game just getting started: 0-0.

Meanwhile Napoleon Solo won the Preakness, the second race of the American Triple Crown in Horse Racing.๐Ÿ‡
There are 2/TWO links in what I just posted, but if you have to explain a joke...

And finally:
Remember, you can’t fight progress, but you can sure unplug a lot of it.

On that note♫, take care.
STAY SAFE!
Have a great week and please be back next weekend for more Sunday Funnies.
For Weekend Pupdate, I’m Koda Canine.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: FUTURE PREDICTIONS?

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
WOW! I've got to tell you people, the weather in my neck of the woods (and I've never figured out where the rest of the woods' body is, so don't ask me) has been BEAUTIFUL the last couple of days!
It's like Spring finally arrived and is trying to make up for lost time.
2020 has been a pretty rough year for all of us with this dang pandemic, so isn't it nice to have something go our way for a change?๐Ÿ˜

Anyway I'm just out in the backyard by my doghouse, lying under my favorite tree๐ŸŒฒ enjoying the warm sun๐ŸŒž on my fur.๐Ÿ˜Ž
Right now it's still safer to stay home than risk going out if you don't have to.
Hopefully things will improve in time to whatever develops as the new "normal", yet you have to wonder just what that might be. So just pull up a virtual lawn chair and I'll share my thoughts on stuff you probably won't see this year.

I'll be totally surprised if anyone toilet papers๐Ÿงป a house as a prank this Halloween.๐Ÿ‘ป

Something you'll never see on Sesame Street.
"The year 2020 is brought to you by the letters

"

Here's one unemployment application you'll probably never see.
Job title: Burglar.
Reason for layoff: Everybody is home.

I noticed a lot of people are not posting selfies since the beauty salons closed.๐Ÿ˜‰

I seriously doubt we will ever see some big business lay off executives in a cost cutting measure.

And on that note♫, have a great week everybody! STAY SAFE, and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: ELEPHUN! (elephant jokes)

Hello everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
Now, one of my favorite animals is the elephant.
I love to go visit them in the wild and visit them during my travels, or stop and see them in whatever zoo I might be flying past.
Of course, I hate to see them caged up in a zoo to begin with, but I guess that's better than having them run loose all over the city.
Anyway, what all this is leading up to is: ELEPHANT JOKES!

What's the difference between an elephant and a flea?
A flea can jump on an elephant, but an elephant can't jump on a flea.

What do you call an elephant at the North Pole?
Lost!

When do elephants have eight legs?
When there are two of them!

It was August and little Hannah was on holiday with her parents. One day, her dad says to her, “Did you know that they don’t allow elephants on this beach?"
When Hannah asked why, her dad's answer was "Because they can't keep their trunks up."

What does an elephant do when he stubs his toe?
He calls the toe truck.

My uncle said, "I'm going to do a dangerous experiment. I'm going to cross an elephant with a mouse."
When I asked what the result would be, my uncle said, "Great big holes in the wall."

How do you stop an elephant from charging?
Take away his credit cards.

Why are elephants so wrinkled?
Have you ever tried ironing one?

What do you get when you cross an elephant with a fish?
Swimming trunks!

Well, I do have a lot more elephant jokes, but not the room the post them. After all, you do realize how big an elephant is, right?
In any event, have a great week and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.

THE 50/50 CHANCE
Believe it or not, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" IS a word, at least according to the Oxford English Dictionary since 1986.

The song was written by Richard and Robert Sherman for the 1964 Walt Disney movie version of Mary Poppins. While the Disney Corporation maintains its copyrights on the tune and film, the following video is courtesy of YouTube, featuring Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews, as this year marks its 50th anniversary!
