SUNDAY FUNNIES: TO TELL THE TOOTH!

I take good care of my teeth,
although they need more chocolate!
Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
"Going to the dentist today. I will fill you in on all the boring details later," he said, dropping me off at Dragon School.

Bubblehead had to go to the dentist this past week to get his teeth cleaned.
Okay, I'm scratching my head over that one. After all, he does brush and floss twice a day and makes sure I do too, whether I want to or not. 😉
Of course what actually happened was the dentist wanted to make SURE Bubblehead was brushing and flossing like he's supposed to!
Now he knows how I feel whenever he checks on me.

But don't get me wrong. I may be just a baby dragon, but I do know that taking good care of your teeth is just as important to your health as anything else.
Yet as accurate as that last sentence was, you're not here to hear me go on about dental hygiene, so...

What time is your dentist appointment?
🦷Tooth hurty.

My dentist told me I only have one cavity.
It's called my stomach and I want to fill it three times a day.

How do teeth travel across the bay?
On the tooth ferry.⛴

A dentist was needed to testify at an important trial and was about to be sworn in.
The judge asked, "Do you swear to tell the tooth. The whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth?"🦷
"Sure," promised the dentist, "but can you handle the tooth?"
"Isn't that your job?" asked the judge.

If a "painless dentist" does not live up to their advertising, that does not give you the right to bite them.

And on that note, remember to brush and floss.
Have a great week and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.

THE PUZZLE CORNER: NOVEMBER 17, 2018

😎FUN FACT
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

What are you suffering from if you have Arachibutyrophobia?
The fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth.

THE 50/50 CHANCE
Just like a regular TRIVIA TIME question, except there are just two possible answers, hence the even odds of getting it right. Ready?
TRUE or FALSE: A light year is a unit of time.
FALSE! It is a unit of distance, based upon how far light can travel within a vacuum during the course of one year.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: DRIVING YOU CRAZY (CAR JOKES)

Why drive when you can fly?
Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
Now, a lot of times in the morning and late afternoon when I'm flying to and from Dragon School, I see a lot of congested roads below me.
My teacher says this is a daily ritual motorists participate in called "Rush Hour", because everyone is in a hurry to get to or from work.
Of course, why this is called "Rush Hour" when the roads are so jammed packed that nothing is moving very fast is beyond me, but does present a nice set up for some car jokes. Ready?

"How much gas do we have?" asked the passenger.
"The needle is pointing to one half. But I don't know if that means the tank is half-empty or half-full," replied the driver.

If no one can successfully refold a road map after it's been opened, how do the publishers manage to fold it
to begin with?

"How much gas does your tank hold?" one motorist asked the other.
"I don't know. I've never been able to afford a fill up."

A cop pulled a driver over for speeding and said, "Do you know you were doing over sixty miles per hour?"
"Really?" asked the driver. "That's great! I just got my first driving lesson yesterday."

A child asked his mother, "What happens to used cars?"
"Some salesman tricks your Daddy into buying them because they're allegedly as good as new," she answered.

Why do people drive in a parkway and park in a driveway?

A tourist was lost in New York City and asked his cab driver "Do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?"
"Practice," replied the driver.

And now, because I like you all so much, a couple of more funny pictures.

Okay everybody! Take care and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!--wd.

COMMON BONDS
{Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, Brent Spiner, Colm Meaney, LeVar Burton, Nichelle Nichols, Avery Brooks, Paul Winfield, David Warner, (and) Kate Mulgrew} have all voiced characters within the animated series Gargoyles.
Trivia bonus: the series producers also wanted to hire Patrick Stewart to guest voice a character, but could never come to terms with his agent(s).
