As the category four storm turns its attention to the Atlantic seaboard side of the United States of America, North Carolina officials are preparing to start a precautionary evacuation of some low lying coastal sections of that state beginning tomorrow morning.
Residents in the area are urged to heed the warnings and evacuate.
States further up the Atlantic sea board are keeping a watchful eye on the hurricane, but North Carolina is the only state that has announced any official plans as this news item is posted.
