THE LETTER SHUFFLE
With the new fall television season fast approaching, how many words can you find within the letters of HOLLYWOOD?

We'll reveal all next weekend. But for now, let's boldly open THE ANSWERS BOX and discover the results of our Star Trek Anniversary Quiz from the September 8 Puzzle Corner.

01. Star Trek: The Animated Series (as it is known today) occurred in between the original series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. When first aired, it was simply known as Star Trek.
02. The animated series introduced Lieutenant Arek, voiced by James Doohan, and Lieutenant M'Ress, voiced by Majel Barrett Rodenberry.
03. While he didn't make the animated series do to budget constraints, Walter (Chekov) Koeing wrote the animated episode "The Infinite Vulcan".
04. DeForrest Kelly in a cameo as Doctor Leonard McCoy was the first original series star to appear on The Next Generation, in the debut adventure "Encounter At Farpoint". Michael Leonard as Sarek, Leonard Nimoy as Spock, and James Doohan as Scotty also appeared over the course of the series.
05. Believe it or not, the animated series was the first Emmy win for Star Trek!
06. The first ON SCREEN passing of a Star Trek character was Denise Crosby as Tasha Yar in the final episode of The Next Generation's first season.
