SUNDAY FUNNIES: IT'S A DOG'S LIFE

"I bark, therefore I am."
Hello Everybody. Autumn the Puppy here.
Now, we've had plenty of dog related discussions before, ranging from everything like "the dog days of summer" to the classic dog joke:
Man: "How's life?"
Dog: "Ruff."
Man: "That bad, huh?"
Dog: "You try being on my end of the leash and see how you like it."

But let's look at some other aspects of life from the canine perspective.

From what my nose can detect in the laundry room, dryer lint has to be the cremated remains of everybody's missing socks.
That and the fact that some people need to do their laundry more often than whenever they're out of clean clothes because the hamper is overflowing with dirty stuff.

People look at the proverbial glass of life as either half empty or half full.
Dogs will enjoy whatever's there.
Something you should do with life as much as humanly possible.

Once you lick the frosting off a cupcake, it becomes a muffin, and muffins are healthy.
But then again, do you really need all those calories to begin with?

Sometimes people complain about a dog barking too much, but remember: we only bark when we have something to say.
It's not our fault the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and other critters trespass in our yards whenever they feel like it.
Everything we have to say may not be completely important from your perspective, but there have been plenty of times when our positions are reversed.
Like when you offer to take us for a car ride and we wind up going to the vet!

Dogs always strive to be the best we can be.
Sure, we may have our "lazy moments" during the day. After all, it's not our fault the moon is only in the night sky. Somebody has to howl at it when necessary.
People may know more than one dog within their lifetimes, but a dog will know their person their entire life.
And for better or worse people, like dogs, only have one lifetime.
The canine seal of approval

So go live life safely to its fullest.
Go out and play fetch or for a run in the park.
Just remember to take your dog with you.
We like to have fun too, and doing that stuff is more interesting than watching you sitting on the couch watching football on a lovely Sunday afternoon in the fall.
Especially when we're not allowed on the couch to begin with!

Have a grrrr-eat week folks and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies.--AtP.
