THE SUNDAY FUNNIES: AUTUMN THE PUPPY ON LIFE

"I bark, therefore I am."

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Now, if it's one thing everyone seems to be an expert on, it's life.

Personally, I think it's a nice board game and was a fantastic magazine in its day.
But while the real thing can be a lot more complicated at times than you first think, it sure beats the alternative.

That's why every day I beat my previous record of consecutive days I've stayed alive is a reason to celebrate!

There have just been so many theories, books, seminars, self-help gurus, etc concerning the subject, that I've decided to stick my nose in and see what I could come up with on the subject.

The following are just my own observations. Your opinion(s) may vary.

One aspect of life is health. There are plenty of people who want to live long and healthy. I have no problem with that per se. Hypochondriacs and quack doctors are another matter, but anyway, another aspect of life is dieting. Let's be realistic about this folks. I've decided that, no matter how much effort I put into it, I'll never get down to my original weight. After all, trying to get back to ten ounces (my weight a newborn puppy) is just so unrealistic.

Striving to achieve and make life better for yourself and others is always important, but if quitters never win and winners never quit, what fool came up with, "Quit while you're ahead?"

Self image is also important. It doesn't matter what you think of me. I think I'm special, and so do my imaginary friends.

The most precious thing we have is life, yet it has absolutely no trade-in value.
So is that why some people spend so much time trying to obtain more materialistic possessions?

People who make you feel special are keepers.
Anybody with such good taste has to be admired.

And finally...

That's all for now. Have a great week everybody and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.
