*President Trump is supposedly considering nominating Ellen Lord for the position of Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. Lord is currently a Chief Executive at Textron Systems, a defense contractor.
*Donald Trump hopes to open parts of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans to oil drilling soon, areas that were environmentally protected under the President Barack Obama Administration.
*The Senate has officially postponed taking a vote on their version of “Trump Care” until sometime after they return from their Fourth of July/Summer Vacation break. *Before they adjourned for their annual summer recess, the Supreme Court has reinstated parts of President Trump’s travel ban, overturning some of the lower Federal courts blockage of the executive order(s).
