THE SUNDAY FUNNIES: FELINE OBSERVATIONS

Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!

Koda Canine and I had to go back and check the records after we teamed up for our annual Back To School Special and our Editor-In-Chief soloed over the Labor Day weekend, but Koda had the last single outing so its meow's turn today.

A lot of people think all cats do is just sit around and take it easy.

WHO TOLD YOU OUR SECRET?

I mean: what we are actually doing is observing what you call the human condition and are extremely thankful that we're cats!

For example:

Humans have weird feelings about music.♫

You hate it when a song you loved brand new suddenly gets declared a "golden oldie".

Yet you don't think twice about having the radio on and cleaning the house to that music instead of dancing to it.

You say you want a beautiful long term relationship.

With your bed.🛏

Yet the alarm clock⏰ keeps trying to break you two up.

But what about having a good relationship with your pillow?

Let alone your covers?

Or your spouse?

When you say you want to give someone a piece of your mind, can you actually spare it?

When it comes to what is important in your life, how much of a role does toilet paper actually play?

You humans spend so much time in that little room with the door closed as it is but as far as I know, all you ever do is wash your hands before you come back out and complain you need more toilet paper.

What is actually going on in there?

And what makes that weird sound before you wash your hands?

Curious cats want to know!

If you're trying to eat healthy, do you lick the frosting off a cupcake so it is now an allegedly healthy muffin?

You shouldn't judge other people unless you're purrfect.

Like us cats. 😸

Do you think you're young at heart, but slightly older in other places?

If your money is tight when you try to either figure out your budget or do your taxes, don't bother trying to spread chocolate on your calculator to fudge the numbers.

Purrsonally, I don't think anyone should cheat at all but if you're going to attempt it, at least find a less messy way to do so.

And remember. Us cats have almost 300 facial expressions to show our emotions with.
