SUNDAY FUNNIES: TIMELY JOKES

Time on her wings
Hello Everybody. Waxy Dragon here!

First and foremost, I hope everyone who's participating in Daylight Savings Time remembered to set their clocks ahead before they went to bed last night, otherwise you'll be an hour late to any place you have to be at today.

Of course, that also means we've lost an hour of sleep, but we allegedly regain that back this fall.

Personally, I just wish whoever came up with Daylight Savings Time would reset the clocks for me.
Most of the digital ones adjust themselves, which is great, but adjusting the manual ones takes time.
And how are you supposed to reset a sundial anyway?

Grandma Dragon has one in her backyard garden, and now it's an hour behind!

Anyway, I'll figure it out yet, but that's not why you came here, so on with the jokes!

What time is it when the clock strikes thirteen?
Time to get a new clock.

Time to get up and get going. Today's bad decisions are not going to make themselves.

Regardless of what time it is, I am not lazy, I'm on energy saving mode.

For you fans of the group Chicago:
♫Does anybody really know what time it is?♫
♫25 or 6 to 4.♫

Some people talk to you in their free time. Some people free their time to talk to you. Know the difference.

And on that note, have a great week everybody, and please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.

THE PUZZLE CORNER: JULY 12, 2014

FUN FACT
This weekend marks the first of three consecutive "super moons", so named because the moon's elliptical orbit brings it closer to Earth than normal.

REBUS
Something familiar is represented in the image below.
Do you know what it is?

TRIVIA TIME
Who is accredited with creating what we know today as the music video?

We'll reveal all next weekend.
But for now, let's open THE ANSWERS BOX and reveal the results of the July 5th, 2014 Puzzle Corner.

COMMON BONDS
The items listed in each subset below have something in common.
What it was...
01. {Torme, Blanc} Mel
02. {Cassidy, Beckham} David
03. {Groups 1 and 2} Famous people who have the same first name.

FAMOUS FIRSTS
The first hit single for the musical group Chicago was Make Me Smile, from March 1970; because their first two releases (Questions 67 and 68, and Beginnings) were released under the group's original name: The Chicago Transit Authority.
And now, courtesy of YouTube, a rare, 1970 LIVE performance of that song for you to enjoy.
