SUNDAY FUNNIES: ANIMAL NEWS

Hello Everybody! Piper D. Katt here!
Did you know that Cats start their day by reading the MEWSpaper? It's true!
And I don't mean your old discards that some line the bottom of our litter boxes with.
Believe it or not, we're not just furry friends who look pretty in your lap and allegedly are only concerned about where our next meal is coming from.
Granted, that last part is always a cat concern but anyway...
My point, and I did have one, is that us cats have brains as well as good looks.

I subscribe to the DAILY MEWS, and among the stories of both feline and other animal interest...

The zoo panda๐Ÿผ was totally bamboozled when it discovered dinner missing.

Did you know the favorite artist of most farm animals is Pigcasso?
I hear his paintings are just swine.

A turkey๐Ÿฆƒ got into a fight and had the stuffing knocked out of it.
I have no idea what the fight was about but it makes me wonder.
Would a snail๐ŸŒ fight be a slug fest?

It has been disproven that dogs willing eat homework!
You have to be low enough to trick them into eating it.

An auto store is wanting to hire snakes.๐Ÿ๐Ÿ
Seems they're short on windshield vipers. ๐Ÿ˜ผ

A construction site is needing a new crane, but I don't know any birds who would even consider taking that job.

Animal scientists have confirmed that any member of any species can jump higher than any building because buildings can't jump!

Detective Ali๐ŸŠ has just solved another baffling mystery, making him one terrific investi-gator.

The Leopard๐Ÿ† Society is refusing to participate in "Hide and Seek" any more because they're always spotted.

So on that note♫ have a great week everybody!
Take care.
STAY SAFE! ๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be back here again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—PDK.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: RAINY DAYS AND SUNDAYS...

I hate the smell of wet fur!

Hello Everybody! Autumn the Puppy here!
Don't know how it's been in your neck of the woods, but for most of the past week it's been nothing but rain, rain, and more rain.
About the only times I've been outside was when Nature called, and even then I put her on hold as much as I could.
Did I mention rain?
Anyway, it's RainSunday, so let's have some fun. Ready?

A forecaster could never get the weather report for his area right. He finally told his audience that he was leaving “because the weather didn't agree with him.”
Where's Gene Kelly when you need him?

Is it just me, or does it seem like the only time a weather report is totally 100% accurate is AFTER the fact!

How come the weather people always say stuff like "30% chance of rain"?☔
Why can't they say something more positive like "70% chance of sunshine"?๐ŸŒž

For you humans out there, how come the weather is usually perfect when you're stuck at work but can turn miserable when you have the day off? ๐Ÿ˜•

Where do lightning bolts๐Ÿ—ฑ๐Ÿ—ฒ go on their dates?
To Cloud 9.
I hear it has a great disco. ๐Ÿ˜‰

By the way, I found him! Gene Kelly, in this classic movie magic moment, flora, and anything aquatic are about the only ones I know of who could truly enjoy weather like this!

What happens when the rain clouds finally clear in California?
UCLA!

Why did the lady go out in the rain with her purse open?
She expected some change in the weather.

What bow can't be tied?
A rainbow! ๐ŸŒˆ

And on that note♫, try to have a great week everybody!
Take care.
STAY SAFE!๐Ÿ˜ท
And please be back with us again next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—AtP.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: LAZY LAUGHS (misc. jokes)

Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here.

Now, since this is summer vacation from Dragon School time for me, I'm just kicking back on the beach soaking up some healthy (for dragons anyway) sunshine and taking it easy.
But that doesn't mean I'm skipping my turn hosting The Sunday Funnies.

To wit...

I watched some old westerns on TV and honestly believe that a lot of the conflicts in the wild west could have been avoided, if the cowboy architects had planned ahead and made their towns big enough for everyone.

Did you know that there is no red light visible 30 feet underwater?
That's why fish are always running through intersections and never stop for the red light.

When you've seen one shopping center, you've seen a mall.

Do bakers trade recipes on a kneed to know basis?

Two silk worms raced against each other. It ended in a tie.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day doing nothing.

It's all fun and games until Monday rolls around and you have to go back to work.
Well, at least some of you do. I'm going for a swim.
Yes, I can swim.
More like dragon paddle, but you get the idea.
In any event, have a great week, take care, and please be back next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!—wd.
