GO VOTE! (2019 edition)

The following is an editorial.

Today is Election Day in the United States of America.

Now this may seem like a "minor" one in comparison to the upcoming Presidential election next year, but it is no less important!

Local and state offices are at stake, and those in power next year will start laying the groundwork for their party's candidates come November 2020.

Considering current events, do you want more of the same "quid pro quo", or would you like to see actual improvements in the months ahead?

Forget all the campaign rhetoric and fear mongering over what might happen if "so and so" is elected.
Use your own brains and think for yourself!

You're an intelligent person, and whatever the election results may be will affect YOUR future too!
Wouldn't you like a say in the matter?

After all, IT IS YOUR RIGHT UNDER THE UNITED STATES' CONSTITUTION!

Or, in other words...

GO VOTE!

The above was an editorial, whose advice we hope all eligible Americans heed!

SUNDAY FUNNIES: TIMES CHANGE 2019

Too much time on my paws...
Hello Everybody! Waxy Dragon here!
Now back in March I complained about Daylight Saving Time starting.
I do think for a baby dragon that I made some good points, although it has since been brought to my attention that with the hour coming back in the fall, the kiddies don't have to be out and about in the dark trying to get to school.
Okay, I DO AGREE WITH THAT.
Yet between all kinds of other stuff like "seasonal depression," cold weather, snow, and the fact that I just don't like winter to begin with; wouldn't you like to make that time of year a bit shorter if you could?
NOT CHRISTMAS THOUGH! I LOVE CHRISTMAS, although I still need to talk to Santa Claus🎅 about getting more Belgosian Dark Chocolate than all that coal he delivers to me.

Anyway...
Daylight Saving Time did end for 2019 and we have regained the missing hour from this Spring.
It wasn't returned without any apologies or even a "Thank You".
Just a "here it is" and a promise of "borrowing" it again next Spring.
I still would have like to have seen it returned with interest. Even just a few seconds would have been appreciated.

But I guess it's better to be moving on and get to some timely jokes...

A procrastinator’s work is never done.
Being a procrastinator is great, you have a lot to do tomorrow, and nothing to do today.
I might start organizing the 1909 procrastinator’s convention next year.😉
♫Rock around the clock♫

What time is it when the clock strikes 13?
Time to get a new clock.

Why did the man throw the clock out the window?
He wanted to see time fly.

Did you hear about the very hungry clock?
It went back four seconds.

If you know someone has a broken clock, when is the right time to tell them?

If a child refuses to sleep during nap time, are they guilty of resisting a rest?

Whenever you annoy a timepiece, does it get ticked off?

Remember, even a broken clock is still right twice a day, and on that note♫, take care everyone and please be back here next weekend for more Sunday Funnies!wd.
