*Evidence taken from Reunion Island in July has been confirmed as wreckage from Malaysian Flight 370. While an official cause for the March 2014 crash is still unknown, the search for further evidence continues.





TERRIBLE TERRORIST ACTIVITIES...
*Bombings, suicidal and otherwise, were once more the most popular terrorist weapon this past week.
*ISIS/ISIL forces have seized control of the Al-Qaryatain transport hub, thus securing a supply route for other ISIS/ISIL bases.

*Actress Coleen Gray (Nightmare Alley, The Killing, Kiss of Death) has taken her last bow on life's stage.
*Actress Lela Swift (Dark Shadows, Ryan's Hope) is no longer with us.
*Rapper Sean Price has passed away.

*While the propaganda campaign against Planned Parenthood continues, some states have withdrawn local funding, while Congressional Republicans are threatening another government shutdown unless the organization is completely closed.
*President Barack Obama has announced the Clean Power Plan, including new standards to reduce carbon pollution from power plants.
*The Republican Presidential nominee hopefuls squared off in two debates Thursday night between the "Top Ten" and the rest. Further coverage of the event can be found here.
*Republican Presidential nominee hopeful Donald Trump allegedly said, "You're fired"; but former campaign manager Roger Stone says he quit.
*Jesse Benton, the head of Republican Presidential nominee hopeful Ron Paul's Super PAC has been federally indicted for allegedly making "payments" to an Illinois state senator.
*The American Federation of Teachers is demanding Republican nominee hopeful Chris Christie resign from the race for saying teachers "deserve a punch in the face" for endorsing Democratic Presidential nominee hopeful Hillary Clinton months before she officially announced her campaign.

*The convicted shooter in the 2012 Aurora, Colorado theater massacre has been sentenced to life without parole.
*A new outbreak of Legionaries' Disease has been reported in New York City, with 5 confirmed deaths and almost a 100 confirmed cases.
*While Texas is still keeping a weary eye on Operation: Jade Helm 15 to make sure the United States doesn't take over the Lone Star State, three North Carolina men have been arrested for planning to attack the US military.
*Bill Cosby's legal troubles continue, as he must give a deposition concerning one of the rape accusations against him.
*Jon Stewart has hosted his last episode of The Daily Show.
*While no official decision has been announced, some polls indicate former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt is the favorite to replace Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill.
*The US Navy's latest submarine, the USS John Warner, has been officially commissioned for active duty.
