*Although claiming a senior aide intentionally engineered a traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge for political retribution in September 2013 without his participation, instructions, or prior knowledge of the event; New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been sued for his (alleged) part in what is being called "Bridge Gate".
*Janet Yellen has become the first female supervisor of the Federal Reserve System.
*American born Colleen LaRose, aka "Jihad Jane", has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for her part in a failed al-Qaeda assassination attempt.
