*A commercial Russian aircraft crashed on its way to Egypt, losing all aboard in the process. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
*Bidhya Devi Bhandari has been elected Nepal's first female President.
*The People's Republic of China has announced that henceforth, it will allow families to have TWO children instead of one.
*Argentina's Presidential election will be decided in a run off in late November 2015.
*The results of the 2015 Presidential election in Haiti may not be known until late November 2015.
*Jimmy Morales is the new President-elect of Guatemala.
*Alassane Ouattara has been re-elected President of the Ivory Coast.
*The territorial dispute over navigating the waters around China's artificial islands in the South China Sea continues.
*Somebody is poisoning elephants in Zimbabwe.
*Scientists fear some areas of the Persian Gulf may become uninhabitable within a century, due to global warming and climate change.

*Fighting against terrorist forces continues in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, and other regions of the Middle East.
*Direct military attacks seem to be the "weapon dujour" for terrorist forces this past week.
